In late June, torrential rains flooded KwaZulu, South Africa. Swazi-Zulu Sacred Mountain area of Endwebu, (location of our spiritual energy healing clinic), was hard hit. Roads turned to rivers, an unknown number of Zulu children on their way home from school were swept to their deaths.
Rains also destroyed the mud and rock homes of AIDS orphan child run families. It is wintertime in KwaZulu. Children are not being fed and are getting sick from sleeping in the cold.
Endwebu is tribal land. A quote from a disaster area where even reporters fear to go. “Elsewhere in the world in a catastrophe, there would be trucks driving in convoy, loaded with food supplies and blankets. No such thing here in tribal land”.
We do not have much, but we are providing funds to build 10 cement and rock homes for child run families, meeting with KwaZulu business people for donated supplies to rebuild more homes, while bringing food to child led families and elderly grandmothers, (Gogos), who care for AIDS orphans.
Situation is desperate, “chop shop” thieves executed Frans right on the farm, 9 bullets to head and chest. Franselinda protected our healers at Endwebu from the bad element who inhabits some houses near the healing clinic farmhouse. Frans left behind a wife and 4 young children.
Effective June 22nd, we stopped our work with surrogate parent teddy bears for AIDS orphans in order to focus on blankets and funds to rebuild the mud and rock huts of children, as well as collect some money to help Frans' widow and 4 young children.
