Dear Air Canada, AIDS Babies and its volunteers wish to thank Air Canada for its generosity in joining with South African Airways Cargo to provide free shipping of several hundred stuffed toys for AIDS orphans in South Africa. This shipment of toys, many of them collected from school children in St. Catharines/Niagara, left Toronto, Canada for London, England on Dec. 1, 2004, which is World AIDS Day. In London, they were transferred to South Africa Airways Cargo staff that then sent them on to Durban, South Africa. It is heartening to see two companies working together in unity to help others in need.
